Discovery Hall Programs (DHP) of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab has openings for two marine science educators to work within a collaborative education and outreach group. These are full-time, year-round positions with benefits.
DHP educators develop and teach high quality on-site and off-site hands-on informal educational programs (field-based, in-class and distance learning) about marine and coastal issues to K-12 students, teachers and the general public during the school year and during the summer months. Off-site programs include overnight travel throughout the state as part of the BayMobile program as well as occasional outreach events.
