Sammy Harding joined Mississippi State University's Northern Gulf Institute as a Laboratory Technologist at NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic & Meteorological Laboratory based in Miami, FL. Sammy will work as an 'omics laboratory technician focused on global eDNA, including eDNA data from the Bio-GO-SHIP (Bio-Global Ocean Ship-based Hydrographic Investigations Program), GOMECC (Gulf and Ocean Monitoring Ecosystems and Carbon Cruises) and MBON (Marine Biodiversity Observing Network) projects.
